Colored straws, hot glue. Students completed a questionnaire about their everyday care of the environment. Using straws to symbolize drinking water students chose large straws for yes answers and smaller straws for no answers and used them to create individual sculptures which collectively morphed into a wall installation. 12 x 8 x 2’, size variable.
This site-specific exhibition bridges art and science with efforts to conserve, sustain, and improve our drinking water sources. Collaboration with artist Suzan Shutan.
