Hand Cut Paper in the Landscape

At The Colorado Art Ranch residency I experimented with a traditional form of cutting that allows my material to expand.  I hand cut a  12” paper disk and photographed it in the Colorado landscape in order to see it in a different way to determine the possibilities of this new form.  Later I traveled with a Tyvek and paper disk and photographed it in the Colombian Amazon jungle in an attempt to test its durability in the outdoors.
